Greetings all, welcome to summer in downtown Canandaigua. The weather is rising, and street is bustling with people, eager to see what’s new in all the shops. We have new restaurants this summer, art galleries have really stepped up and created some dazzling shows. Merchants are preparing for an awesome summer by featuring hip and savvy clothing, or unique and tantalizing gifts. The second annual Plein Air Festival is happening in June, as well as the Canandaigua Farmer’s Market.

Canandaigua Wine Walk Saturday June 1st
Enjoy sampling the finest Finger Lakes wine in while walking historic Canandaigua! Merchants, including apparel, gift stores, art galleries and restaurants are proud to introduce you to Canandaigua Wine Walk.
Grab a commemorative wine glass for $5 at any participating merchant, sample wines from Finger Lakes Wineries, and explore historic Canandaigua. All participating merchants are scheduled tentatively, this list may change.
No reservations required, just show up and look for the purple balloons at each participating merchant.

Sweet & Savory Tasting Event at Sweet Expressions, Saturday, June 1st
Celebrate the opening day of the Canandaigua Farmer’s Market, 8:30 am to 12 pm noon.
2nd Annual Plein Air Festival Competition June 5th – 9th, 2013
This juried and judged competition is held under the auspices of the Ontario County Arts Council. The plein air painting competition is open to qualifying artists working in media including: soft pastel, oil, acrylic, gauche, and transparent watercolor. The competition is rain or shine. Simply Crêpes in Canandaigua added a NEW craft beer list and NEW appetizer items to our menu, including a Canadian favorite – POUTINE, featuring homemade gravy and cheese curds made by local dairy farm, Shtayburne Farms! We have also opened our patio for the summer season, so visit us for some al fresco dining!
Simco Galleria at 61 S. Main Street just joined our association, visit Marc and the gang at Simco to see new Antiques and much more.
Vineyard Wine and Spirits at 699 South Main Street just joined the association visit their newly remodeled store and their new Finger Lakes wine area.
