From unique museums and historic sites to world-class entertainment and family fun, best of all, we’re located in the renowned Finger Lakes Wine Region and are home to the Canandaigua Wine Trail that encompasses 7 winery stops and over 30 associate members. Located within our city limits are Granger Homestead & Carriage Museum, Sonnenberg Gardens, Ontario County Historical Society, Ontario County Arts Council and the New York Wine & Culinary Center.

Community Life

As the Ontario County seat, Canandaigua offers easy access to many county services. The City of Canandaigua is home to the Wood Library and the recently renovated Canandaigua YMCA.  The Canandaigua Community has a strong sense of stewardship with ample volunteer opportunities and strong volunteer organizations such as the Rotary and Kiwanis clubs.
