100+ cars will be on display on the sidewalks of Main Street. Live entertainment, awards, and specialty vendors will round out the show.

Friday, July 4th

4th of July Parade

The Independence Day Parade begins at 10am at the County Court House and marches down Main Street to Canandaigua Lake. The  line-up includes Marching Bands, several floats, fire equipment and vintage autos & boats. A reviewing stand
will be in front of The Commons Park in historic downtown with local host John Spare from Spare Time Travel providing commentary. Judging will take place at the reviewing stand and our panel of judges includes community residents and youth judges. Award categories include the Grand Marshall Award, Mayor’s Community Spirit Award, Canandaigua BID award, Outstanding Musical Unit, Outstanding Float, Best Theme and Junior Judges Award. 10AM FREE.

July 18, 19 & 20

Canandaigua Art & Music Festival

Description :   A celebration of summer in Historic Downtown Canandaigua with more than 100 artists and craftspeople, an impressive offering of mouth-watering cuisine, children’s activities, family stage and a variety of musical entertainment.

10AM-8PM Friday & Saturday 10AM-6PM Sunday, South Main Street – Historic Downtown Canandaigua, Entry Fees for vendors: FREE Admission.

Fall Into Canandaigua

Description:   Harvest festival on Main Street includes a Giant Scarecorw & Great Scarecrow Contest, Children’s activities, live music, wagon rides and specialty vendors. 10am-4pm.  South Main Street – Historic Downtown Canandaigua.  Entry Fees for Vendors.  FREE Admission

Children’s Costume Parade

Description:   This annual event draws over 200 Children to the wide sidewalks of Main Street in Downtown Canandaigua. The festivities begin at 10AM at All Things Art with pumpkin carving and games sponsored by the Canandaigua Rotary. The parade steps off at 12noon from the Commons Park on Main Street. A Costume contest and prizes sponsored by Sweet Expressions will immediately follow the parade. Suggested age is PreK – Grade 5.Dates:  The Commons – South Main Street – Historic Downtown Canandaigua.  FREE Admission

Taste of the Finger Lakes

Description: Thirty Finger Lakes area restaurants, wineries, custom brewcrafters and specialty food vendors will be on hand offering delicious samples. With thirty tasting booths, attendees should plan to bring an appetite. People’s Choice awards will be given in four categories, Best Taste, Best Sip, Best Specialty Food and Best Display. In addition to the tasting booths, attendees will be able to bid on over 60 silent auction items  At The   Inn On The Lake. $40/ advance $45/ door
