Canandaigua BID
Downtown Canandaigua Business Management Association also known as “the Canandaigua BID” is a non-profit organization created to promote, beautify and improve downtown for residents, property owners and merchants. Key projects include: Main Street Grant, Canandaigua Art & Music Festival, Downtown Hanging Baskets and the Summer Concert Series. The Canandaigua BID is celebrating 15 years of serving the community and encompasses more than 100 shops, restaurants, galleries and businesses.
The Annual Meeting of the Canandaigua BID
The annual meeting (Downtown Canandaigua Business Management
Association, Inc.) has been scheduled for Thursday, April 2, 2008 at All
Things Art, 65 South Main Street, Canandaigua.
The meeting will convene at 5:30pm. The purpose of the meeting is to
report on activity within the BID during 2008, present the agenda for
2009 and the election of members to the Board of Directors.
The polls will be open at 8:30am and will remain open until 5:00pm. The ballots will then be tabulated by the Elections Committee and the results of the election will be announced. The results will not be considered official until the completion of the verification of all ballots.

Write in votes are permissible.
Votes can be cast in person, by absentee ballot or by proxy. Absentee
ballots and proxy forms are available at the BID office, 115 S. Main
Street. Absentee ballots must be received by 12:00 noon on April 2, 2008
in order to be counted. No one member may carry more than five (5)
proxies.
