July is an especially busy month, filled with events and happenings to get you out and about. The Merchants on the street are working hard with their shops and galleries to bring you new and exciting products, apparel, and art. The restaurants have extra staff so they can accommodate you, while they create new and tantalizing dishes. If anyone is planning on staying here in Canandaigua at a hotel or bed and breakfast, please call and reserve your stay, July is very busy.

July Event at Expressions In Needleart
Expressions in Needleart has a special treat for needlepoint lovers during the month of July. In the shop now are hundreds of hand painted canvases from Heart Strings, the Mile High Princess and SHEAR Creations. They have absolutely wonderful Christmas onaments and Halloween pieces. Laurel Wemett of Cat’s in the Kitchen is again offering her 4 week class, Collector’s Roundtable on Thursday evenings (beginning 7/15 from 7 – 9 p.m.). These will focus antiques and collectibles with a bit of local history thrown in. There is a different speaker each week. Registration required.
Anyone wanting details, drop by the store or give Laurel a call (394-3994). The class meets locally (we are using St. John’s Episcopal Church dining hall since OCAC has closed) with visits to TWO local antique shops (outside Canandaigua).
